There is no SAVE option visible when editing an address book entry
Edit address book entry displays only DELETE and CANCEL at the bottom of the edited entry. The rightmost border may be obscured as the display does not allow for scroll.

I meant 'bar' but it's easier to first drag thunderbird window to left, and then drag right edge of window to right to expose the SAVE button

Click the vertical board between addressbook display and the edit portion. drag left and it and the save feature appears.
I am on the learning curve with Thunderbird. Sorry about the knowledge level I don't have yet.
What is a "vertical board"?
I did find that selecting "table layout" and editing results in SAVE being an option.

I can neither Save and new or edited contact. The New/Edit screen won't move left when the arrow says it should so the Save button doesn't show. I've tried everything I can think of but nothing works. I am a long time Thunderbird user and have not had this problem in the past. It started some time this year but not sure when. Also can't delete empty "personal address book". Don't know why I have 3 of them. Any help appreciated; 90 year old Fran in Canada.
This appears to be the same problem. On the addressbook screen, click the small icon to the right of the search bar and click 'table view' and see if that works better.

the personal address book is standard. Others may be there if you set them up.
