Hi,

Could you please share an example of such a link?

I have this issue as well.

Example link: https://share.google/fR6dp1EqgyWuYqCzz (link is to a product page on a Dutch warehouse website)

An archived post on this forum from 2024 indicates this has to do with Google itself and it not handling the user agent string well. https://support.mozilla.org/eu/questions/1436103

The post says Google resolved it, but either the issue came back or wasn't fixed.

Installing the Google Search Fixer add-on resolved the issue for me.

This link opens in Firefox for me. Please try clearing Firefox cache and clearing cookies and data for the Google (warning: this will log you out).

Reported as https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/223318

I linked some bugs from that report for tracking, if that sounds like your workflows.

This function has apparently been removed. For months Firefox has been quicky moved FROM the left side of the quick access bar to the FAR RIGHT every time I tried to share ANYTHING (off the screen requiring a scroll to find it), today I found out WHY.

I shared to 2 apps one time, that I never shared to before and Firefox, and another Open Source App icon disappeared.

I opened "Add" and Firefox was NO LONGER in the, now, VERY much shortened list

I tapped "EDIT" and the also much shortened (but longer than the Add) list didn't have it either. A search came up empty.

Google or Samsung (I suspect Google, because what's Samsung's dog in thid fight?) seens to have blackisted it. The other comments here seem to verify this.
