HOW TO stop auto dimming video on mouse over.
The Firefox video player dims when you move the mouse over. Possibly to make controls more visible. It's very annoying. How to keep brightness and not dim? Thanks

Hello,
Here are some ways to fix the dimming :
Disable dimming in Firefox
- Type about:config in the address bar
- search for full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter
- set it to 0 0.
Disable adaptive brightness (win11)
- Control Panel > Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Change Advanced Power Settings,
- set Enable Adaptive Brightness to "OFF".
Graphics driver software If you have a dedicated GPU, you can try to find in the dedicated GPU software if there is an adaptive brightness toggle.
Lastly, If all doesn't work, try disabling hardware acceleration.

Stopped the dimming on some screens, but not all. Anything else I can do on a mac? Firefox is the only app that dims. Thanks!
Hello,
You can try these : Disable "dim flashing lights" (mac settings)
Disable firefox color management about:config in the address bar, search for gfx.color_management.mode, and set it to 0.
DRM content toggle Settings > General > Digital Rights Management (DRM) Content and toggle the "Play DRM-controlled content" off and then back on
If you are in fullscreen, try exiting and re-entering fullscreen.
