The help article mentions how to open a link in a new tab, but I have a tab open, and just want to open another one to search something else. Is this possible?

Firefox Focus is a browser meant to give a focused and private browsing experience. At launch, it only supported a single web page at a time. and you can Only open multiple tabs but only for links in a page.

Focus intentionally has limited tab support. If you need better tab support there is Firefox for Android.
