Hi I have a list of customers approximately 700 and I want to send them an email Are there any restrictions on numbers? If any bounce will that affect the mailing delivery? Is there anyway to check email addresses before sending, as my customers hand write email addresses and some are illegible?

If you are using Thunderbird's Mailing Lists then I don't think there is any formal limit set by Thunderbird. If you're just using regular addressing then Thunderbird will complain at "approximately 60 addresses".

However your provider or its server may apply limits, usually either a limit on the number of addresses, or on volume of traffic.

A Mail Merge may suit your needs better. There is an add-on for Thunderbird:

...but TBH I wouldn't necessarily use Thunderbird. Libre Office has a useful and effective mail merge facility.
