How can I register without asking a question?

I had a problem with Firefox for Android and found a question here that someone asked 6 days ago. To add a reply, adding more info I had to login.

But since I didn't have an account I gave up on Firefox all together.

How can we make it easier for new visitors to register an account?

  • Add a register button next to the login form
  • Don't require a username, email and password is enough
  • Don't require a password, a sign-in link to the email is enough
  • Don't require registration, simply require an email and have the poster confirm their submission via email.

Why make it so hard?

Well now I have an account and I no longer care about those poor people who don't.
