Cannot print web pages from Firefox to printer or to PDF, despite resetting print settings.

I am not able to print any web page to either a printer or a PDF file. This problem seems to have started with the last update, as I have only been having difficulty for 2 or 3 weeks. A few days ago, I reset the print settings and the problem seemed to have resolved. However, the next time the browser was restarted, it was back to only printing blank pages. ONE blank page, even if the document contains multiple pages. I have been through the entire print setting reset now and the problem still persists.
