FF crashes constantly or fails to load.

Using a 2014 Moto 4G, I am unable to use Firefox for more than a few minutes. It either suddenly crashes, reverting the screensaver to default or fails to load a page.

When it fails to load, the progress bar moves about ten mm then stops. Deleting cache makes no difference, this happens using data or Wi-Fi. The only way I can get FF to load again is to restart the phone. This happens all the time making FF unusable. When FF fails to load, other browsers have no problem.

Can anyone help?

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste that into the "Post a Reply" box. (Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the ID's. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like)
