Hello. i have latest beta 156.b3 64bit, after updating to beta 3 my tb offer retry passwords to many google acccounts and opening FireFox for again login in to each account. I have turned off checking mails on the start up for them and turn off checking mails, but again and again opening firefox for signing in. i closing firefox but TB not continue checking mail from another mailboxes, they stopped and seems like waiting for signing. i try to manually click for each mailbox "get message", but this no work, could you help me turn off login through firefox?

We are facing issues with Thunderbird mail application.

Incoming emails are not being received in Thunderbird. Thunderbird is running very slowly and frequently becomes unresponsive. Sending and receiving emails is taking a long time. We have already restarted the application and system, but the issue still persists.

Kindly check the mail server settings and Thunderbird configuration from your end and advise on the necessary action to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I've been using TB for years and all has been working well. But now I have no idea what is going on.

When I try to download new email from my Yahoo account (using pop3) it tells me that it is downloading 1 or 25 (say) and none get downloaded.

Then I delete some emails in TB and a little while later those deleted emails get downloaded again but none of the latest emails. Even if I logiin to Yahoo and delete those emails, TB seems to manage to download them again. How?

If I delete the first email it should download sometimes the rest will download but not always. Sometimes when I update to the latest version of TB emails start downloading.

I have tried to doing a repair on the Inbox but this seems to make no difference.

I've no idea what to try. Anyone got any advice/suggestions?

Also, how do I get from the Beta version of TB to the stable version? I don't even remember choosing to use the Beta versions.

Lastly, I often get pop-up messages saying that folders cannot be compacted because something is using those folders. I've never understood why TB puts out this message. Why does it not just compact the folders when it has done whatever it is doing? Is there a way of stopping these messages and finding out what is using the folders?

why do I get this on new download

When I try to print a PDF attachment it comes out as a blank sheet. This used to work OK. The print preview is fine. I have altered the settings to open PDFs in acrobat as a workaround. Any help appreciated.

After reading my emails, I wanted to look at my address book. I clicked on ADDRESS BOOK and my book was not there. Now, I can't back up to a normal page. The only choice is to go to the taskbar and close that page. Then when I restart Thunderbird, I get the same useless page ! Now how do I get my emails ? PS I cannot get to the HELP page of Thunderbird in order to find the version number, so the number I posted below is probably wrong. But otherwise, I could not SUBMIT my plea for help. I'm really stuck !!

When I open up my emails in Thunderbird, it takes hours to open the home page, most of the time it is a blank page/screen. When lucky, I can see my email home page, however, sending and receiving are also very very slow and take long time to send out and receive. I tried to compact folders, but the screen remains blank and loading of my account page never opens thus I am not able to do any edit or change for my email account in Thunderbird.

When I up dated the latest version of T.B.. when switching form the index desk top page to read the email, the page is blank EXCEPT for "SWITCH TO: EXTENSION" displayed at the top of the page

For a few days now I have not been able to print pdf files from within Thunderbird.

I am using 154.0b2 (64-bit) Beta version, but had the same problem with the previous version.

If I try and print the pdf it creates the file but the file is blank. This happens when printing to a physical printer or printing to PDF on the computer. The file is created but no content can be seen.

Workaround is to download the PDF and then print it from another app but it is annoying and did not do this previously.

Printing email content from Thunderbird works fine, to physical printers or to PDF files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running Thunderbird on a new Windows 11 laptop. When I download new messages and try and open them my laptop locks up. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks Dave
