You can try basic steps like these in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
Is the URL http://my.msn.com/ or something on a different server?
Past threads on this from around the internet suggest the problem may be with browsers contacting the wrong server. This can arise when a server's numeric IP address changes after it has been stored, either temporarily or permanently, by your browser, your operating system, or your router. To address all three of those (not knowing which it is...):
(1) Firefox - Reload the page bypassing the cache (Ctrl+Shift+r)
(2) Windows
(A) Clear the temporary DNS cache
(B) Check for entries in the Windows hosts file

(3) Router - Reset or power cycle (turn off and on again) your wired or wireless router, or your DSL or cable modem. Since this will interrupt anything in progress, make sure all work is saved first. Invalid URL The requested URL "/", is invalid. Reference #9.a2fc54b8.1345130184.5cbbba6
