Do you have My Yahoo set as your home page under Options - General? Babylon Search may have changed your homepage at some point.

Yes, I set My Yahoo as my home page with you years ago and it has always come up when I logged into Firefox, until today. Repeat, I was asked to add on Babylon but didn't want to and didn't. It got installed on my computer but I removed it. Now I can't log into Firefox without this nuisance popping up and I can't get rid of it.

Thanks! I followed posted instructions to change my home page back to My Yahoo! and then used Windows Explorer Search to find all Babylon files on my C drive. There were still quite a few, although I had run the Add/Remove Programs utility on the Control Panel to remove whatever was there. I now seem to be rid of Babylon. My Yahoo! comes up when I open Firefox. Also emptied my Recycle Bin as instructed. Thanks to that poster!

I have had this problem and I dont find my way around the computer very easily. The solution I found is as follows. In your location bar(the long one up on the left) type about:config and click search.A warning will pop up but just click on it and your in.Scroll down through till you find anything with babylon.Right click on this and select reset.Continue right through the list and repeat this, you will be amazed how many times you find babylon.Turn your computer off and on again and fingers crossed back to normal.
