For some reason my previous post about this problem got set to solved. I certainly did not mark it that way so I am reposting it.

Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit - Firefox 3.6.3 - Mc Afee Site Advisor 3.0.165 - I have never been able to get SiteAdvisor to show the icons for websites shown after a search. It installs normally, Firefox shows it is installed, it works fine in IE8. I don't like IE8, I want to use Firefox only.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== Always

Hello John.

Have you tried asking McAfee for support? This looks like an issue with their software.

Hi Morbus

I asked them 6 times (yes 6 times) no response whatsoever from them. I am pretty sure I am one of many that have this problem. I find posts about it all over the internet when using a Google search but the vast majority go without solutions. Wherever a solution has been posted it does not work for me.

I have been trying to solve this for weeks. I notice it does work in IE just fine. I far prefer Firefox over IE.

Thanks for the input.

I hope you find the solution, but we can't help you, unfortunately. Costumer support is always hard stuff to go through, and McAfee's is all done by employees, which makes it even harder for them.
