Suggested Strong Passwords not saving on iPadOS

more options

I’m having such a difficult time with passwords syncing on iPad. For context, I’m up to date on iPadOS, and recent updates for Firefox as well. But for some reason, Firefox will suggest a new strong password for sites that I need to log into that require a new password, and then it won’t update. This is extremely frustrating - I’ll even manually enter the details into Firefox’s password manager, but it won’t save. Does anybody have any idea why this might be happening? Thanks for any tips that might help!

Sounds like a sync issue with Firefox's password manager. First, make sure "Logins and Passwords" sync is enabled in Firefox settings on your iPad. Try tapping Sync now under your Firefox account. Also, check if iCloud Keychain is interfering—disable it under Settings > Passwords > AutoFill Passwords as a test. If manual saves still don’t work, try reinstalling Firefox—it often fixes buggy behavior.
