Firefox like the other web browsers on iOS/iPadOS is a wrapper shell for weblit.

Firefox extensions are only available on Firefox for Android and on desktop Firefox for Windows, macOS, Linux.

It may change in future at least in the EU due to web browsers being able to potentially use their own browser engine.
