    1. System:

- Win7, 64-Bit - Thunderbird 68.11.0 (32-Bit) - Lightning 68.11.0 - Language-Set: german - Setting of First day of week: MONDAY !!! (that might be an important influence!)

    1. Bug-Description:

- until now, i could reproduce the Bug only in years 1970 - 1979, starting in March and being again correct latestly 1st of Nov. - In Thunderbird, Lightning Addon: Last day of month is shown twice in monthly view + several weeks view. Thus the first day of the following month is shown with the date of the previous months last day, followed by the 2nd of the month. - If doubleclicked on a day with false date to create a new appointment, the appointments date is always correct!!! As also correct is the visible small calender in the appointment-view, if clicked!!! - in weekly and daily view, the dates are shown incorrect not only at the last / first of a month, but over weeks. - the incorrect date shown in the different views is dependant, on the "way" on how this view was reached: e.g. Monthly view, click on day to determine week, weekly view, 3-weeks view (with 1970-10-11_Mon. (incorrect) is followed by 1970-10-13_Tue.).

    1. Assumptions:

- there is definitely a dependance on the last day of the week, as starting with the last week in Oct. connecting to Nov. from Monday on, the dates are shown correctly, thus meaning the change from the previous Sunday to that weeks monday is 2 days!!! - Bug "smells like" an issue with end of February?!? 28 or 29 days?

But can you reproduce it on Thunderbird 78 which uses an integrated calendar? I think that is the real question.

Hey Matt, thanks for your fast reply!

Yes, exactly the same in ThB 78.1.1 (32-Bit) which I just now installed for test purposes on a WIN10 system. Obviously an old ThB portable 52.9.1 (32-Bit), which I still can run, does not show this Bug!

One more detail I have seen is: if you go for example to 1979, week-39 to week-42 in the 4-weeks view, the start-date (Mon.23.09.1979) AND end-date (Sun.20.10.1979) of this 28 days are incorrect while the 26 days in between (Tue.25.09.1979 - Sat.20.10.1979) are correct. -> So it looks like there is an influence from the first AND last day in a view IF not a new month started in the last row?!!?! It also took quite a time / CPU to switch over these month-breaks: Sept. - Oct. - Nov. and backwards for the first time.

BTW this old portable version has a nice feature to click on the year in the upper left small-month view to get a dropdown-list of years! Which is very useful to scroll back that many years ... As compared to click ~ 40 years on the newer versions [<]-Button surrounding the year ;-D

I hope this informations help. Christian
