How to create folders in version 60

Matt replied
Lang Stallard

A lot of things don't work the same way in the current version which was automatically updated a few weeks ago. Specifically I don't know how to create folders. Specifically folders to group accounts and folders to sort received messages.

You can't "group accounts".

Right-click|New (sub)folder still works for me.

Thank you for your reply. It works to create subfolders although I used a different method before. By "group accounts" I meant something called a "unified view" or "unified inbox" as described by Matt in reply to my 10/25 post on "Thunderbird and Gmail incompatibility".

You can not add a folder/sub folder to a unified folder. They are "virtual" it is not possible to attach a real thing to a virtual thing.

So have you tried scrolling down in the unified view to where your real folders are shown and adding one.
