Show remote content button does NOT WORK
The "Show remote content in this message" does NOT work. I click it and it reloads the message and it does not show the remote content and asks again to show it. You can click it 10 times and it does the same thing over again.
This also blocks message being marked as read.
I swear I have tried thunderbird 10 years ago and it did this exact thing and in 10 years it was never fixed?
Am I missing something? Thank you.

Given there was no blocked content button 10 years ago, I find your comment somewhat difficult to understand. Often problems with remote image are down to an anti virus /security software blocking the access. Nothing to do with Thunderbird at all.
Let me clarify the circumstances where this problem shows up: I have 6 email accounts and I am using unified view. If I select one individual account and view the emails there, the "Show remote content.." works. But if I use unified view, it does not work.
Unified Folders is a compromise. It offers some minor convenience, but to my mind with too many drawbacks. This is just one of them.
