I put in my password when checking for mail it sais password required for server and then it sais password not valid for imap.gmx.com any suggestion would be
it will not allow me to get through to imap.gmx.com any suggestions would be great,, oh this is on thunderbird e mail and the email address I use is spiritual164@gmx.com I did however recieve on mail and it was from thunderbird thanking me for using them as my mailclient

Try to verify your password via webmail.

It usually isn't a good idea to post the full email address in a public forum.
