We are aware of the error you are receiving.

To install 1.2 which is currently being offered you have to download the right zip file and then put it on your MicroSD card.

You first have to choose the right version:
American Standard version or the European Standard version

Important: User data will be wiped by the SD package installation. You should back up your data before starting.

The process for backing up data is a bit complicated at this moment if you do not understand the backing up instructions.

Once you have the downloaded file from ZTE, you need to put that file (unziped; the file downloaded is a zip file, do not unzip it) on your MicroSD card. Once you connect your MicroSD card to the computer, you need to drag the downloaded file to the MicroSD card. Once completed, put the MicroSD card back into the phone.

After you put the MicroSD card back in the phone, power up your device by pressing the volume up key and the power button. Continue to hold this until your are in recovery mode.

After you are in recovery mode, select apply update from external storage by using the arrow keys to move up and down the power button to select. Once you are in the apply update from external storage section, use the volume keys again to find the file that was just placed onto the MicroSD card and then press the power button to select the file.

If everything went well, you’ll see a sequence of status messages, culminating with one that says,Install from sdcard complete. After that you’ll need to select reboot system now. Your phone will then reboot, and you’ll see the configuration screen you saw the first time you powered and received on the phone.

Here is just to upgrade in 1.1 no in 1.2 .

I am already in 1.1. But i want to upgrade in 1.2 in the same manner, with a zip file in sd card. No with fastboot etc... Because fastboot bug.

1.2 has not hit ZTE's servers yet. I calculate that it should hit soon as 1.3 was signed over to manufactures Fri. Am I correct?

Ok, so, i must wait that the 1.2 update is in zte.com, and after i will can update from my sd card ?

If they intend to do so. it's already delayed.
