Cant access my sync information after reinstalling OS. I have recovery key but apparently the one mozilla gave me before i installed was the wrong key?
Hi I had to reinstall windows on my computer due to a broken hard-drive. i had sync set up and had a recovery key stored on my flash drive just in case something like this would happen but now that i have everything installed i cant get any of my synced data restored on my new install. i get a wrong key error...whats the deal?

before i do what you recommended it says if i choose to get a new recovery key it will erase all my sync data. i dont want to lose the sync information... can you clarify with me if thats the case. for the first suggestion i can get into my account but the options in there dont give me access to my bookmarks and such. the only options in there are toreset or change my password and to erase sync data or delete account non of which i want to do. i need all my sync data back on my fresh windows install. i dont know if you understand what im asking.
That link is for getting a new password for the Sync account and won't help if there is a problem with the sync key.
Can you at least access your Sync account via that page?
