I noticed in Google Blogger, a 2 different "Traffic Sources" for a particular blog.

The TWO links that open in identical sites, that have pop up screens, that STOP me from closing the tab, and Firefox. I have to use a Kill command to shut fire fox down.

This is a serious concern as it is a back door hack to the blogger environment and Google / Firefox security in general.

Do not click on these links unless your capable of dealing with malware and hacking etc..

These sites and their pop-up / click to accept or not button / LOCKED up Firefox. I of course refused to click on the buttons and went for shut down and then kill as there was NO way to switch Firefox off.

I don't like this situation. The USER has to have full say so, whether the tab and browser runs or not, not the malicious sites.

I think this could be a nasty little exploit.

Are you sure it doesnt happen in other browsers, seems to use javascript to "confirm" your exit. You can use a tool like Web of trust to block crap like this for you though.

And any link using the twitter url shortner may send you anywhere etc. so watch for that.

Yeah thanks for that: WOT - badass idiot link had some great comments.

   Browser exploit

Spam link to this bogus looking site; they placed annoying JavaScript dialogs to try and stop you from leaving. Anyone who does this cannot be trusted. "

   Hateful or questionable content

Spam promising "illegal seduction technique." Addendum: these scumbags use pop-ups making it impossible to leave the site. I had to force-quit my browser to get away from the stench emanating from the site. "

Etc...
