If you type about:config in your address bar on Firefox for android, it will bring up a configuration menu.

In the search bar, type browser.gesture.swipe. There should be two preferences shown: browser.gesture.swipe.up and browser.gesture.swipe.down. If you swap these two preference values, does it solve your issue?

Set the mousewheel.with_control.delta_multiplier_y pref to -100 on the about:config page.
The mousewheel.withcontrol.action pref must be 3 (default)

Neither of those apply to Firefox for Android. There is an open bug to make this a preference.
