Every time I shut down and re-start my computer I have to update firefox. This has only happened since my hotmail account was tampered with. I have followed hotmail's instructions for fixing that, but now I'm constantly having to update firefox - daily!

I have 27" iMac, Firefox 22.0 and I have the same problem. Turn off computer, have to log back in with address/••••• each time. But ---- Safari remains up until I manually sign out. This started about 2 years ago?? when Firefox made some kind of a change. Thanks. Subito.ff

Please update to Firefox 21, you are using Firefox 4 which is horribly out of date.

Update Firefox to the latest release

After that, update your plugins

Your system details list shows that you have two Flash plugins.

  1. Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102
  2. Shockwave Flash 10.2 r153

You should remove them both and install the latest Flash Player version.
