why do my app tabs dissapear when i close firefox each night? I have reset preferences so the tabs are there but they are large tabs not app tabs. thank you!
as instructed, i also exit firefox using the drop-down menu and the cute little app tabs still disappear.

Perform the suggestions mentioned in sections Configuring Session Restore and Troubleshooting in the following article:
Check and tell if its working.
Make sure that you do not use Clear History to clear the Browsing History when you close Firefox.
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy: History: [X] Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings
Thanks Cor-el - unfortunately that did not solve my problem as Clear History was not checked. I cannot even get the drop down menu to open using control>click so I can click "Pin as app tab" unless my Firefox support page is open to the features section. Thx again.

i did everything that everyone suggested and it is working today. Not sure what solved the issue.
