When I visit my sister(which is often) and retrieve my email (yahoo.com) on her computer -- the user ID and password are already there so that anyone can retrieve my email at anytime!!! She uses Firefox for her internet access. I have tried everything to remove both things and nothing works. I have unchecked the 'remember the password' box many times. What can I do so that those 2 items are not already there when I pull up my email????

The Remember password is already remembered, your sister will have to remove from passwords Tools > Options > Security > Passwords > Saved Passwords assuming that she protects passwords, if not delete it yourself.

and you can have the user-id not be remembered by double-clicking in the user-id box and then deleting your user id from the drop-down. that should take care of the form.

If you need to remove saved data then use these steps:

  1. Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  2. Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  3. Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
