If I update to the latest Firefox will I be able to access my talk talk mail(the last version I upgraded to would not so I had to return to an earier version)

If I upgrade to the latest firefox (8.1 ?) will I be able to access my talk talk emails. I think I am using 3.6. I upgraded to the last version and found I could not retrieve my talk talk mail so had to return to my earlier version.Many letters on the net confirmed I as not the only one. I asked why on this forum and never reieved a reply I am hoping you will say this is now sorted ??
