Since I updated tpo 4.01, I lost my status bar. hence my Fox Clock, and some other status bar items are no longer displayed. HELP!

The nice status bar at the bottom of the window is gone and I do not know how to get it back. The View button on the Menu bar no longer has it available to check. Funny thing, the left click to enable right click button appears now on the navigation bar. I think all of these problems appeared when I went from 4.0 to 4.0.1. I like the Status bar. Do I have to go back to the final version of 3 to keep things I like?

Hello BilJines,

I also have the same problem after upgrading to 4.0.1.

I tried to solve it and found the solution, Please go to View->Toolbars and check Add-on Bar or use the shortcut "Ctrl"+"/".

Hope this helps everyone who experience the same problem. No need to go back to previous version :)

Thank you so much I could recover the statusbar in a zap with your suggested shortcut..no drama.. very good .. i am now happy with my latest firefox 4.01 to get back my forecastfox and gmail notifier back cheers
