Computer will play sounds on I-tunes, media player,shockwave, but will not play sounds on flash such as Yahoo or You tube. I have uninstalled adobe flash player 10.2 and installed version 9, but still no sound. when I play shockwave, you can see the firefox slider in the volume mixer, but in videos from Yahoo, video plays , but no sound and the slider is missing in the volume mixer. I have re-installed plugins and also run sfc /scannow, but no help

K-lite has a codec tool I found that will solve your problem. I have tried everything else posted with no result. Follow this link and use fix#5.....http://www.codecguide.com/fix_for_flash_sound_problems.htm. Copy and paste in your browser. This will solve your problem
