I'm unable to install Firefox onto my Windows Vista computer because when I download the .exe file, it doesn't show up anywhere on my computer.

I click on the download button on the Firefox website and it processes as if it is downloading. Once it is finished processing, I'm unable to find the file to install it with the install wizard. I tried it by both running and saving the file. In both cases, the file just vanishes.

Do you know what is the default folder you downloaded to? Look at: Tools / Options / General and you'll find out where all downloads go to.

Last resort, search for the .exe file in your PC.
