Hi,

This evening I rebooted my laptop and when I came to use Firefox again it decided to install the new version, wiping all my data in the process.

Luckily, I had backed up my bookmarks earlier in the day but unfortunately not my history.

Is there any way to get it back?

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

Hi, it's possible that Firefox has created a new empty Profile. To check, and if it's there, go back to your old one - with all your data, please see: Recover user data missing after Firefox update
