disable keyboard shortcuts missing modifiers by default

Bug: some shortcuts are not using modifier keys (eg ctrl+<key> or <shift>+key). This is absolutely terrible if you miss-click the filter bar and start typing - all sorts of unwanted commands are executed. For example this just happened to me: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1126760 These shortcuts are probably fantastic for those that use them, but they should be opt-in or they should use modifier keys. In short, modifier keys, modifier keys, modifier keys, modifier keys (or opt in).

Sure I can configure everything but my issue as stated in the title is with the defaults. What new user is going to know that accidentally hitting k is going to ignore a thread? (I'm not sure if that's the key I hit, but it was mentioned in the linked post above). Probably opt-in to (at least) shortcuts missing modifiers, as the problem is accidentally executing a bunch of commands.
