Every time I open a website I get the French version of it. All my settings are set to the US (language and geolocalization).

You can use websites like these to see how your location is reported.

I know but that is not what I am asking, though.... thanks anyway.

So, is your location reported correctly by both websites ?

Are you possibly using a VPN ?

There should be a reason if your location is that much off.

That's the thing: I am not using a VPN. Safari has my location set to where I am. It only happens when I am using Firefox.

So, the websites I posted above also report the wrong location ?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":
