Suddenly firefox turned grey and all my homepage saved sites vanished replaced by a highlights option and random top sites! Why & how to revert back

Suddenly firefox turned grey and all my homepage saved sites vanished replaced by a highlights option and random top sites! Why & how to revert back to how it was.

With no warning and i didnt tell it to change, firefox suddenly changed visual appearance f firefox browswer to grey version, and vanished my homepage i set to be sites i selected and saved in windows urls with thumbnail previews of site and their name, to blank highlights, then weirdly suddenly brought back some of my saved sites but made preview images squares of them all smaller. Why and how to change all back adn stop from it changing again?

hi, please see the banner at the top of the support page - unfortunately there's a technical issue (failing addon signature verification) at the moment that's prohibiting the installation and in some case the usage of installed addons for firefox - that's including your custom theme and extension you've used to adjust the new tab page.

mozilla is working on a resolution, expect a fix soon. sorry for the inconvenience...
