folders in "local Folders" disappeared. How do i get them back?

I started up my computer and opened Thunderbird to discover that all folders and files had disappeared completely from "Local Folders." They were there when I closed by computer down the night before. I am running WIN 10. How can I recover all of my folders and files?

Check the folder "<TB profiles>\Mail\Local Folders" If it is empty or contains only a few files with very small sizes, data are really lost. Then you can only use your backup to restore the lost data. If the folder contains reasonable contents, with the current info I have no idea.
