This happened yesterday with one of my computers. The other is fine. None of the "solutions" posted earlier seem to be relevant. I've turned add-ons off. Is there a way to reinstall Thunderbird without losing content?

Ooops. I thought I'd tried every possible combination of settings to fix this, but I just changed back to Original HTML, which seems to work though I have no idea why.
