The only web connections I can make are previous Bookmarks, why can I NOT search the web like I have always been able to ?

This has been going on now for 3 days. I have never had this problem in the past. Makes no difference what search i type in , there is NO response other than the search logo at the top left corner spinning counter clockwise infinitely.

hi, does it make a difference when you try the following: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2. make sure that is set to false (if it isn't, double-click it in order to toggle its value) and restart the browser once.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
