Cannot get envelope notifier on taskbar even though "show on taskbar" is checked.
I just purchased a new HP laptop to replace my old HP laptop. Both are running windows 10 . Both laptops are running Thunderbird 45.5.1. When new Email comes in, my old laptop will show the envelope. Stopping Thunderbird on my old PC and starting Thunderbird on my new PC the Email yields no envelope notifier. Any help will be greatly appreciated.....

Yes, both machines appear identical

Matt I just found it. Settings, System, Notifications and Actions, Select which icons appear on the taskbar, turn on Thunderbird...........Yea.......
