Browse by name broken again

Heads up/anyone out there using Keyword Search I'm working to roll back to FF48 for now.

Why does browse by name keep breaking? FF4 was when it was no longer supported natively, why does FF49 break an addon?

The devs need to leave it alone and stop messing with it and let us enjoy a more efficient way to browse the web!

Does it work in Firefox 48.0.2? Mike Kaply's support thread suggests there might be an issue on Google itself.

In Fx49.0.1, with Keyword Search installed, these are the URLs I get for different Google features when searching firefox:

Over 12 years ago, BBN was discovered by users of the Google Toolbar add-on, which added these parameters (both of which apparently were necessary): sourceid=navclient&gfns=1

It seems that Google may have turned off gfns=1 but someone who still has a Google Toolbar on a browser in which it is supported would be in a better position to confirm that.
