I don't see any emails in any folders all I have is pink stripped screen

None of the folders, inbox or others show anything except a pink stripped screen. If I click on write email the normal screen comes up.

You have a filter enabled, and the pink striping is telling you that no messages match the filter.

Check that all the filter options in your QuickFilter bar are turned off.
