Please can you tell me more about Firefox hello? In particular, do you need any special equipment to use Firefox Hello?

Do I need a webcam, or would it be possible to use a media player, like VLC?

Do I need anything like a microphone to connect to my laptop? Or would it be possible to use the audio-speakers on the laptop?

Hi

Firefox Hello is a new feature in Firefox that allows you to have real time web communication.

You will need a webcam (so that people can see you!), but you will not need a media player as (aside from drivers for your webcam) everything you need is in Firefox.

You may need to connect a microphone, but your webcam may have one included with it. You may want to test it to find out what it can do.
