Strange behaviour on Google Analytics Menus since V37
Hi,
I have noticed that since V37 when you are in Google Analytics the menus have a strange behaviour, when you hover on say Events or Conversions, i get like a black square for a few moments, then it goes away - i can still click on the menu and i can carry on but it definitely looks weird, as if it goes out of memory.
I have a HP DV6 Win 64-bit and ATI Radeon + Intel HD3000.
I am attaching a screen capture where you can see it - it didnt do much black now but it usually does it.
is it a bug?

Are you referring to the "flag" next to "conversations"?
If not, please submit a new screenshot that has the glitch circled.
no, if you see below, on the Goals, there's something which comes in blue which shouldn't be there...
occasionally there's a black box coming up, too.
it's not always the same, now there's a strange line coming, just now...

tried already, didn't fix it.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- Download the Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

i've done all that already, same thing occurs. with previous releases didnt happen so somethin has been messed up. if you use GA with Google Chrome, of course it works fine.

by the way, i tried again and it seems if i disabled Hardware Acceleration on Firefox 38.0.5 (just updated) then this weird error doesnt show anymore.
I have not updated the video drivers of my ATI or Intel video cards... so most likely something changed after FF version 37? is that so?
