Sent folder is full so unable to send message, but sent folder is nearly empty and has been repaired / compacted?

Unlike the other thread in which this was resolved by compacting folders, this still has not resolved the issue. I have updated Thunderbird, repaired and compacted the folder with no results.

Is there another place I can compact from that might be more robust other than just right clicking the folder and selecting Compact?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
