Firefox won't open any more and won't reinstall
My Firefox browser suddenly won't open at all. I tried to reinstall but when I clicked the 'run' button, all information disappeared but nothing happened. I went to my 'downloads' to try again but the same thing happened. It will not reinstall. I have an HP Envy laptop with windows 8.

hello christine, since this can sometimes be caused by malware active on a system, please run a scan with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & microsoft safety scanner.
I scanned my computer with microsoft safety scanner and no files were found to be infected. My Mozilla has started opening but I often have to 'retry' to get a page. There is no problem using the internet with any other program in my computer so it is not a connection issue.
Please run a scan with all three tools...
