Can I import my address book from Thunderbird Desktop version to Android version. If no, how about in the future? Will it be possible in your plans?

I recently upgraded to a Pixel 9a from a Pixel 8a. If I want to forward or create a new email message I cannot type a name in the To: area my contact list doesn't exist or display any of my contacts. What do I need to do to get access to my contacts?
