Dear Sirs! I've been trying to install FF in several ways. Using installer.exe and setup150.exe. I started these files from same disk as the system (C), Temp folder empty and unlocked for read\write, located where it should be C-user-appdata-local-temp. I started files as administrator. Each time the setup fails with system notice like on the picture attached. It says "can not find specified file"

My notebook is very old, but it runs Win 10 OK, Chrome is OK also

The latest version of Firefox (installed today) just crashes when trying to open any tab and will not reload anything. How can I reload the last working version? Kind regards Stephen.

I don't think the install finished correctly I am sending this from Chrome.

I can't install Mozilla VPN on MacOS 10.15.8. The installation programm tell me to ask for help to the editor of the VPN... I'm afraid that it's possible there is NO version available for my old machine... Am- I right ?

Installing the latest version of Firefox and Debian 13.

Following the instructions in the Mozilla Support document Install Firefox on Linux https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux

Operating as Super User.

Chose the option Install Firefox .deb package for Debian-based distributions (recommended)

Steps 1, 2, and 3 worked exactly as expected with in a terminal and using bash.

Step 4 and 5, following the For Debian Trixie and Newer choice does not work. A lot of digging on the internet and found that the command beginning with cat <<eof needs to be cat the second part of this process has same issue. appling new information solved problem both statements now work. p></eof>

At this point you have a directory /etc/apt/keyrings. In this directory you have the file packages.mozilla.org.asc Step 3 returns success. You have also successfully applied steps 4 and 5. In directory /etc/apr/souces.list.d you have the file mozilla.sources.

It contains the instruction “Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/packages.mozilla.org.gpg”

No where in the previous stepd was the file Signed-By: packages.mozilla.org.gpg ever created.

Why is the deb package looking in /usr/share/keyrings when step 2 puts a similarly named file Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/packages.mozilla.org.asc in /etc/apt/keyrings

Running apt update returns

Since a few days I'm unable to download or re-install Firefox on my laptop. This follows performance problems which I wanted to solve by uninstalling / reinstalling the browser. The installing process ultimately times out.

I uninstalled my Firefox to fix an issue & now I’m trying to reinstall but it tells me, Profile missing. “your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.”

Hello I have had Mozilla firefox for yrs and love it. I have Proton VPN too. I just saw your note to update to mozilla VPN. I tried to do it but message said 'you already have mozilla" , 'do you wnat to replace?" The amazing to me as I would think this the questions come up to numerous people who are trying to replace it Or rather get your VPN. I have now downloaded Duckduck as my browser but I really want to have Mozilla's own browser, not a Microsoft-owned or Google browser. Every time I try to download the Mozilla browser I am told it has been interrupted - always when it is two-thirds of the way through the installation process. Why ?

Hello, the official mozilla page instructions for how to download Firefox for Linux (Debian 13) is wrong, it fails on Step 3 saying that the key verification is incorrect thus I have not tried the steps after 3.

I know Debian 13 comes with Firefox ESR but from my research this is packaged and maintained by Debian, I would prefer it if all my eggs were not in one basket and I actually had the real source maintainer updating my browser aka Mozilla.

I don't know what else to say, it is just incorrectly written or something, because Brave Browsers installation instructions are SOO much better and simpler, super easy works 10/10 times, and it's way fewer commands.

I was able to install it on my Mac mini running OS mountain lion with no problem but This is the error message I keep getting on my IMAC OS10.15.7 Catalina (attached): current browser is safari ver 15.6.1. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Currently the Helper tool blocks my use of firefox on nonAdmin desktops, and in doing so, looks like a spoofing scam popup seeking my password. After updating Firefox to 148.0 on my M4 MacMini Sequoia 15.7.4, using an Admin account/desktop, on Firefox launch on a non admin desktop, the helper tool popup requests admin credentials !?!? As a 74yrOldNontechie Mac user since 1984, I thought that in the Mac world, when an Admin installs software on one desktop, that application then crosses all desktops used on that machine, ie if the software is really installed, even nonAdmin desktops should already have the Helper Tool. My internet facing desktops are never admins, hoping to deny Admin powers to any Internet attacks on my internet facing desktops, and my rarely used admin desktop goes on the net only for software download access/updates. How do I get Firefox to work on my NonAdmin desktops? Why does the firefox install NOT include the helper tool on nonAdmin desktops?

I am trying to follow the guide linked to install Firefox on an older Chromebook. It looks like the device should be supported, as running the command cat /etc/os-release returns that it is version 10. When I get to step 4 and try and run that I get a permission denied error and later steps do not work.

I did try the Google play option on the Chromebook, it says the device is not supported.
