When I press the home button my homepage tabs appear twice
I use multiple tabs as my home page. When I start Firefox, everything is fine - all the tabs show up as expected. But, anytime after that, if I push the home button, all the homepage tabs (except the first) will appear twice.

Make sure that you haven't set multiple home pages.

I have 5 websites as my home page...following the online instructions exactly. I double checked and their are no duplicates. Again, when I first open Firefox (which is set to go to my homepage at start) it works perfectly fine.
As a simple test, I open Firefox and the 5 pages load fine. I then close all but one of the tabs. When I press the home button I now get a total of 9 tabs. The first website in my homepage list shows up once, while the others appear twice.

Aha! The New Tab King extension causes the problem. When I disable it, the home button works as expected.
