We've received several reports of this bug, but we don't have a solution yet. We're still investigating it.

If you are receiving an "out of space" error when trying to install Firefox for Android, can you let us know what phone you are using, and whether you have installed any previous releases of Fennec/Firefox?

HTC desire with the same problem. 48.76mb free internal memory. 7466.93mb on SD card. Never had FireFox mobile installed.
