Stop Lightning from asking to save changes on non-changed calendar entry

I am finding if I have a notification in the calendar (linking to Google Calendar work entries I did NOT create, and have no ability to edit) that every few times I tell the system to Sleep for XX minutes, or Dismiss the listing it will pop up a message asking if I want to save changes. I haven't changed anything, so it should not be trying to save to a calendar entry that was not created or managed by me.

Is there some hidden setting I should be changing to handle calendars that contain what are effectively read-only entries?
