On my MacBook AIr (CaTALINA), when on the Times of London website, after the columns, the mention "we're having a problem loading comments. Please hit "refresh" to try again". And nothing happens. Note that this problems doesn't occur on my iMac.

Do you enable the Enhance Tracking Protection by chance? Maybe try to turn it off to see if it's the culprit.
