When clicking on an NHL.com goal or highlights video, the browser sporadically plays back audio in a constant loop. This can be reproduced for example by clicking on video below and refreshing the page a couple of times:

Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Flash Player Version: Version 31.0.0.122

Sorry, but NHL.com and most other websites in 2018 don't render videos with Flash Player anymore, so this didn't really help to solve the problem with audio looping. Have a look yourself at some NHL.com videos and see if you can reproduce it, because I can, on every PC.

I played several clips and had no problem. Note for others: The player does not identify itself.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
